Computing at Hurst Green
Children at Hurst Green use the internet regularly in school as part of their learning to enhance their experiences. Alongside our new Computing curriculum, all of our units will incorporate elements of digital literacy(E-safety). E-safety is also taught in other areas of the curriculum, as well as separate activities, to remind children of the importance of staying safe online.
Right from the start of school, children are taught what to do if they think they have witnessed something inappropriate online. This ensures that children can use technology safely at school. These values are also instilled through regular assemblies.
If at any point you have any E-Safety concerns, then please do not hesitate to contact our Computing Co-ordinator (Mr South) via the school office.
