On Thursday 2 July a group of children from Year 5 visited the Black Country Living Museum with Mrs Hancox and Mrs Withers to take part in workshops about 'Design, Manufacturing and Technology at Work'.
We watched a show entitled 'Who wants to be a Superhero' and heard about the production of aluminium wheels. We also visited a foundry and observed some engineers using a bench top tester.
We were amazed as we watched a 3D printer create a small robot character. Finally we toured part of the museum where we visited a trapshop as well as watching a chain maker in action.
We all had a wonderful day and couldnt wait to tell all our friends and family about it and we felt proud to live in the Black Country.
