Hurst Green Primary School is open for pupils from 8.45am-3.15pm. This equates to 6.5 hours in school per day and 32.5 hours per week. 

Doors open at 8.45am.  Children enter via their classroom doors. If your child arrives after 8.55am, they will have to enter school through main entrance where they will need to be signed into school by an adult.  We monitor children arriving late and notify our attendance officer if this becomes a regular occurrence. 

Messages can be give via the class email address or the school info email.

Break is at variable times for each Key Stage.

Lunch starts at 11.45am for Reception and Key Stage 1 and finishes at 12.40pm. For Key Stage 2 lunch starts at 12.45pm and finishes at 1.40pm. 

The school day finishes at 3.15pm. Should someone other than the child's parents/guardians be collecting them from school, please ensure that a message is left either with staff at the door in the morning or please call the office who will inform the teaching staff.
