Pirates Love Underpants by Claire Freedman

Listen to Hurst Green Primary School's Phase One Assistant Headteacher Mr Walters read one of his children's favourite bedtime stories. Listen carefully for his somewhat dubious pirate accent!!!

When asked why he chose this book, Mr Walters said:

"My little girl thinks all of the 'Underpants Books' by Claire Freedman are hilarious but this is her favourite. She likes it when I have to pretend to be a pirate and then likes to decide, at the end of the book, what pair of pants from the picture different people we know would wear! My little boy, who is only one, loves this story too and giggles when I squawk loudly like a parrot after the quiet part of the story. I think it's just a really funny, well-written book with a great rhyming scheme which is really fun to read out loud!"
