Good Morning Beech Class!

Happy Friday! How are you this morning? You have all done so well working hard at home this week. I am so proud of you all. I wonder, what are you most proud of this week? Are you proud that you have been kind and shared your toys with your siblings? Are you proud of helping Mummy and Daddy at home? Are you proud of your reading? Or maybe you are proud of your writing or your Maths. You could draw a picture of what you are proud of and write a sentence about it. This week I am proud of...

Here are some of the pictures of the fantastic work you have sent me this week. I loved seeing what you have been up to.

Today, in phonics we are learning about longer words in letters and sounds Year 1 lesson 15. In Maths, we are learning about ordinal numbers. This afternoon is forest time. If you have a safe outdoor space, have a go at collecting some Autumn leaves and creating your own leaf picture. Finally it is time for reading to end the week. You could read a book from school to someone in your family or a favourite book off your book shelf. You could even listen to someone in your family read you a story.

Remember you can email me at beechteacher@hurst-green.dudley.sch.uk to say hi, to show me your work or to ask me any questions.

Good luck and have a super half term.
