A very warm welcome to Hurst Green Primary School!
I am extremely proud to be the head teacher of Hurst Green. We are a school filled with caring, well behaved and engaged children; skilled staff; dedicated governors and supportive parents.
Hurst Green Primary School is a happy, inclusive and family orientated school with a welcoming and caring atmosphere. We are a school with rich Hurst Green traditions and many of our parents attended Hurst Green as children. Alongside this, we continually look to the future, both in terms of research-based practice and IT provision.
We are committed to providing a stimulating and motivating curriculum that is interesting, engaging and prepares our children well for life. We believe that everyone in school should enjoy their learning and feel proud of their achievements. To fulfil this, we will provide a curriculum which gives equal value to developing children’s academic, social, physical and emotional understanding. Our large grounds enable children to enjoy learning outside the classroom, including in our forest area.
Our school motto is ‘Growing and Learning’. We strongly value the relationship we have with our parents and recognise that effective partnerships are essential. We appreciate and value the support our parents give us and the role they play in enriching our children’s experiences and supporting their child’s education. Parents are always most welcome into school to help or to discuss their child’s progress or any matters of concern.
Hurst Green Primary School has a very strong reputation locally and within the borough of Dudley. If you don’t know our school, this website will help you to scratch the surface of what makes us special, but a visit would tell you so much more!
If you are considering Hurst Green for your child and would like to arrange a visit, please get in touch with the school office.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
