Year 4 pupils visited Tamworth Castle as part of their learning about local history. During the visit, they explored the castle and discovered how it connects to the Anglo-Saxon period. The trip also linked to learning about the Staffordshire Hoard, helping pupils understand what life was like in Anglo-Saxon England and why these discoveries are important for historians.
