Thank you to everyone in EYFS and Key Stage One who took part in the Easter Reading Challenge. Below are some of your wonderful pictures. 

Reminder of the entrance requirements: 

During this festive season, we would like to set you a reading challenge that shows how fun and creative reading can be. You need to find the most creative and original place to have a photo taken of your child while reading. This could be a photo of them sat reading under the Christmas tree with presents, reading while wearing their Christmas jumper, sat reading on a reindeer or who knows… maybe it will even snow this Christmas and you can read on top of a giant snowman! 

Children in EYFS, KS1 & KS2 can enter our Festive Reading Challenge and we are really looking forward to seeing your photos! Every child who enters will receive a certificate in assembly and their photograph displayed on the school website and in school.

You can send your child's photograph as an attachment on an email to

 festivereading@hurst-green.dudley.sch.uk 

Please also add your child's name and year group either within the email or as the subject of the email.

Reading challenge photographs must be submitted by the end of the first week back after Christmas, Friday 6^rd January.
